 t the very heart of digital imaging is the process of acquiring
the image. This can be done in 2 ways and we regularly use both.
For over size images such as original art that is to large for
the scanner we employ the services of one of our partners Gary
Walpole. Gary has been a professional photographer for over
30 years with the last 10 totally devoted to digital photography.
Because of his equipment and skills, we regularly photgraph
art for reproduction services. If it is a negative or 11 x 17
or smaller image we use our Eversmart Supreme High Resolution
Scanner. This is the same machine used by Getty Images in London
and is the standard of the industry in the rarified world of
high end digital imaging. Remember the old adage garbage in
garbage out. It is imperative to capture a high quality digital
file if you expect a high quality print.
